The Blue Hole is the image we associate with Belize, that beautiful blue hole in the Caribbean. There are other Blue Hole in Belize that are not so famous, but will surprise you on your way. We visited the National Park Blue Hole.
On the beautiful Belizean highway of Hummingbird Highway There are several stops you can make on your way. This road is to enjoy it, to do it calmly and take advantage of the Parks with authorized trails and nearby waterfalls. During the journey there are different detours, the landscape is simply exquisite, a road to enjoy.
One of the stops that remains on the Hummingbird is the National Park Blue Hole. The cenote Blue Hole which is inside the Park, gives it its name. Another of the most attractive points of the Park is the cave St. Hermans, one of the few that you can access on your own in Belize.
At the visitor's house offer guide services, tubing by the underground river that passes through St. Hermans Cave and some other activity. For those of us who like to do Hiking through jungles enabled, this Park offers several tours. From the entrance is close by a road suitable for all the St. Hermans Cave, where there is a picnic area. Many visitors stay in this area to spend the day. If you decide to do tubing or go deeper than allowed in the cave you should do it with a guide.
If you follow the path You have a circular circuit that takes you to great viewpoints entered into the jungle. Here the road is marked, but it is pure jungle, for which you will not stop listening to bugs, bugs and bicharracos ... it is beautiful how alive it is. Meet you saraguatos monkeys It is usual, at least you will hear how loud they are. Acongojan in the middle of these jungle, remember that you are in a wild environment.
El National Park Blue Hole It is a well run and enabled natural space where you can spend a few hours quietly touring the wild and thick Belizean jungle. It is not one of the most touristic places in Belize, and less the long trails little traveled, so always do them in company. Here you have a good detour to this wonderful Petén, enjoy it.
