On the coast there are several towns that seem interesting for the traveler. Dangriga, Garífuna cultural capital, Placencia, the favorite corner of the traveler and Hopkins, the one that goes unnoticed. From these three villages boats go out to the keys and excursions to the reefs, but sometimes they entangle so much that you do not even go out to sea ....

The Garifuna villages they allow us to know a different culture, of a very personal nature. The relaxed Garífuna culture is lived in a very special way here, where they give one more nut to the meaning of the word tranquility. I always felt very proud of their identity to the Garífuna, so much so that they feel special, not to say superior in some cases.

Hopkins It is a very good taste of this Belizean coast, one of those towns where there is nothing to do ... A quiet town, without the intrusion of tourism that transforms places. Although in a culture as marked as this, it is more difficult to change the rhythm. In Placencia, more touristy than Hopkins, life is total Caribbean, this culture swallows you up.
