I like Izamal a lot, that's why I always try to include it in our routes around the area. When I go I like to try new accommodations, sometimes I repeat, and as I like the hospitality I visit hotels to meet them. Many travelers visit it in passing, for me it is worth sleeping in this beautiful town.
I'm going to recommend places I've been to, some I do not know but people who recommend it, and I know that I agree on criteria. Single we recommend the best hotels according to our criteria.

Criterion to recommend accommodation
With a accommodation we seek a good value for money to be able to recommend them, this is our priority. Attentive staff, location and hotels with a special charm.
The accommodations are divided according to budget:
- Economic budget: from 100 to 600 Mexican pesos (mxn).
- Average budget: from 600 to 2,000 mxn.
- High budget: 2,000 mxn onwards.

Areas to sleep in Izamal
It is a small town of 28.000 inhabitants, where the historical Center collects much of the tourist accommodation. From here you can walk the city without problem, if you travel by public transport is the best option to stay in the center for the convenience it entails.
More and more of you are encouraged to travel the Peninsula by rental car, and there are many Mexicans who travel by car. We also think about families, many of you travel with children. Hotels usually have parking for their clients, so you will not have problems parking.

Izamal is comfortable and small, almost all are central. We divide them according to budget.
ECONOMIC-MEDIUM BUDGET:
SAN MIGUEL ARCÁNGEL HOTEL: one of the classic hotels of Izamal that runs a local family LOCATION: in the mere plaza in front of the Convent HOTEL DESCRIPTION: 12 rooms, some with balcony and other interior. The rooms are equipped with cable TV, air conditioning, fan and private bathroom with toiletries. SERVICES: breakfast included, garden area with jacuzzi. Wi-Fi does not reach all rooms well, you must connect in common areas. The best: Excellent value for money and how nice the place is. PERSONAL OPINION: it is a good option, practical and central.

RINCONADA DEL CONVENTO HOTEL: another classic from Izamal, very similar in services and quality to San Miguel Arcángel LOCATION: It is very close to the Convent, behind this HOTEL DESCRIPTION: air-conditioned rooms with private bathroom, seating area, satellite TV and private balcony. Many have views of the convent. SERVICES: swimming pool, WIFI in common areas and parking. The best: good value for money PERSONAL OPINION: to go with children I prefer this because of having a pool.

POSADA YA'AX ICH: Relatively new and recommended by blog travelers LOCATION: It is not as central as the other two, but everything is so close that 7 minutes to the center walking HOTEL DESCRIPTION: rooms with air conditioning and private bathroom, satellite TV SERVICES: swimming pool, WIFI and parking. The best: excellent value for money, ideal for families.

The best: good value for money PERSONAL OPINION: a hotel with different air in Izamal

HOTEL COKI COKI CASA LOS SANTOS: this little chain has hotel in Valladolid and in Cobá, both of particular style, for those who are looking for charming hotels in your stay LOCATION: it is in the mere center HOTEL DESCRIPTION: a beautiful restored house with rooms with private bathroom, terrace with views and cared for in every detail SERVICES: breakfast included, outdoor pool, restaurant, WIFI, and parking. The best: COKI COKI are a reference of quality and good service
