On the Ruta de los Cenotes we find the Kin Ha cenote, one of the most beautiful in the area. You can visit up to a dozen cenotes in this park.

On the Ruta de los Cenotes, which runs along the road that connects Puerto Morelos with Leona Vicario, we have the option of visiting several cenotes. For me, Kin Ha cenote is one of the most beautiful in this area

The proximity to the Riviera Maya has transformed most of these cenotes into tourist parks where you can do different activities: zip lines, ATV (quads), horseback riding, bicycle circuits ... to the liking of tourists looking for this type of fun. This has made them more expensive, as happens in many cenotes on the Quintana Roo coast.

Cenote Kin-Há

When I met the Cenote Kin Ha It was run by a family, next to the cenote Zapote. Over time this family divided the properties and now they manage them independently.

In the beginning, some Mayan brothers built the main structures of both cenotes, and with them we had good talks in the shade in their hammocks. Although they are no longer here, when I have returned to the place I always remember them. The owners have always treated me great, opening the doors for me so that I could photograph their cenotes.

It is not because of the good treatment received, so I affirm that the cenote Kin ha is one of the most beautiful on the Ruta de los Cenotes, but it is my desire to express my love for the place and its administrators.

La hammock inside the cenote Kin Há It is an idea that I have not appreciated enough: here I have been able to enjoy the silence and solitude in the company of the bats that inhabit the cave. Basic to skip the tourist hours, which usually arrive from 10:30 in the morning.

Activities and other cenotes in the Kin-Há Cenote Park

At the entrance to the Kin-Há cenote there is a restaurant and all the services you may require: there they kindly inform you of the activities you can do. Ask about the other cenotes to visit, the place has great potential due to the different cenotes, which can be reached by bike or ATV. The Basic package offers you the Kin-Ha and the White Flower, a beautiful open cenote.

The times that I visited them I went with Ángel, one of the cenote workers. Angel is made a crack lighting the cenotes with LEDs and mirrors. I hope you enjoy the place as much as I enjoy it, look at the beauty of cenotes.
