CENOTE FRESH WATER

One of the most beautiful cenotes in the Yalcobá area is the Sweet Water cenote, a cavity that overwhelms. The diameter is huge, the print drop. The stairs take you to a medium platform where you can admire the overwhelming beauty of the place, its imposing diameter does not leave you impassive. The long roots looking for fresh water, stalactites, light rays and falling water form vertical vertigo. A pleasure

The first time I visited it, I wanted to bathe in this imposing nature. I was taking photos for almost two hours alone, when I left a family came and I didn't want to stay any longer. Normally when I go out to take photos of cenotes, I do not bathe in the cenotes, I go where I go, this time I was left wanting.

Obviously I have returned, I wanted to bathe in this imposing place. I had the opportunity to bathe alone once, and I felt the adrenaline rush. The cavity of the Agua Dulce cenote is so huge that you feel vulnerable, very small.

There is some canoe useful to cross the wide diameter of the Sweet Water cenote. A canoe ride was almost poetic, really. The staircase leads you to water level. Some ropes, as we always see in the cenotes enabled for tourism, give you the security to move through the crystalline waters.

It is a great idea to wear a diving mask, a very attractive way to enjoy these treasures.

CENOTE SERVICES FRESHWATER

The entrance to the Agua Dulce cenote is at the Rancho Agua Dulce facilities, part of which continues to function as a cattle ranch. On the ranch there are other cenotes such as the beautiful Popcorn and the Dzonot Ac, and some dry cave to visit.

The place offers a very complete visit, I loved it. Buffet restaurant service to taste several Yucatecan dishes and the possibility of an educational tour through different phases of the formation of the cenotes with a visit to the Dzonot Ac cenote, an aguada, the last stage of a cenote. It is inhabited by ducks and turtles, a delight.
